- Poseida Therapeutics ( NASDAQ: PSTX ) on Tuesday said its founder Eric Ostertag had resigned as executive chairman and will retire from its board, effective Feb. 3.
- Shares of the clinical-stage cell and gene therapy company slipped 8.1% to $6.40 after hours.
- "Ostertag will continue as a consultant to the Company to advise on technical and scientific matters," PSTX said in a statement .
- Ostertag founded PSTX as a spinout of a genetic engineering company called Transposagen in 2015 and served as PSTX's CEO till Feb. 2022.
- Under Ostertag's leadership, PSTX got U.S. regulatory clearances on four investigational new drug applications and established multiple collaborations, the company said.
