Samsung and Apple dominate the phone market
In August, Samsung is unveiling its range of phones, ahead of Apple Inc’s ( NASDAQ: AAPL ) new iPhones, which will launch in September if all falls in place. In the U.S., users either own Samsung or an Apple phone. While Huawei’s share has dropped, Xiaomi Corp ( OTCMKTS: XIACF ) is doing well, according to Canalys. On the other hand, Google ( NASDAQ: GOOGL ) will launch its flagship Pixel 6 phone, which will be powered with a processor built by Google. The launch is the company’s effort to re-enter the premium phone market.
