- Sigma Lithium ( NASDAQ: SGML ) +5.8% in Friday's trading after Brazil's Valor Economico reported Bank of America has been conducting talks with funds and multinational firms interested in buying the mining company .
- Among those interested in the Brazilian company are China's Cnooc and Saudi Arabia's PIF sovereign wealth fund, according to the report.
- Tesla ( TSLA ) has approached Sigma ( SGML ) but is not currently in active negotiations, the report also said.
