Silvercorp Metals ( NYSE: SVM ) reported Thursday its Q2 silver equivalent production totaled ~1.9M oz, roughly flat compared to the previous quarter.
Q2 silver production fell 4% Q/Q to 1.8M oz while gold output jumped 41% to 1,552 oz, and Silvercorp ( SVM ) said both remain on track to achieve full-year guidance.
Silvercorp ( SVM ) said lower production of silver as well as lead was due primarily to reduced head grades at the Ying Mining District in line with planned mining sequences and mineral reserves.
The company reiterated FY 2024 production guidance of 6.8M-7.2M oz of silver, 4.4K-5.5K oz of gold, 70.5M-73.8M lbs of lead, and 27.7M-29.7M lbs of zinc.
