- Sinclair Broadcast Group ( NASDAQ: SBGI ) has reached a deal to add the Tennis Channel and T2, as well as channels Charge and TBD, to the lineup at YouTube TV ( GOOG ) ( GOOGL ).
- Financial terms weren't disclosed.
- That's part of an extension covering Sinclair's CBS and MyNetworkTV affiliates on the service, and renewing multicast sci-fi/fantasy network Comet.
- T2 is Tennis Channel's first free ad-supported TV channel, while Charge offers police procedural dramas and TBD features a slate of reality-based series. The tennis deals come to coincide with the start of the French Open, which kicks off May 28.
- “We are pleased to reach an agreement that brings Tennis Channel, T2 and all three of our Emerging Networks to YouTube TV, a valued partner of ours,” said Sinclair's Will Bell.
