Shares of Singapore-based edtech Genius Group ( NYSE: GNS ) were on the move Thursday, jumping 26% in afternoon trading.
The stock opened at $6.52, hitting a low of $6.45 in early trading before climbing to a high of $8.45 in late morning. Shares recently changed hands at $8.04 at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET.
Genius Group’s stock has been trending higher since Aug. 10. The company didn’t appear to release any news or make any filings on Thursday.
Genius Group, which provides online and in-person educational services for children and adults, went public through a $23 million initial public offering on April 22, offering 3.3M shares at $6 per share.
