- Sirius XM ( NASDAQ: SIRI ) has brought its app and hundreds of its audio channels to millions of Comcast ( NASDAQ: CMCSA ) customers nationwide.
- More than 425 channels, including its flagship offering of Howard Stern, are available to customers of Comcast's Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex and XClass TV offerings - found within a device's app section or by saying "SiriusXM" into voice remotes.
- There's a promotional aspect as eligible Comcast customers can get a free three-month subscription to SiriusXM. Existing Sirius customers can sign in to enjoy seamless listening between the SXM app on their mobile device or Comcast devices.
- Future enhancements to the deal are expected to include access to SiriusXM Video, a library that includes more than 11,000 pieces of video content (including music performances, shows, interviews and clips as well as The Howard Stern Show).
