- Society Pass ( NASDAQ: SOPA ) announced Monday that it has acquired Thailand's Thoughtful Media Group in the move to expand its portfolio of technology-enabled companies located in Southeast Asia.
- Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
- Headquartered in Bangkok, Thoughtful Media Group is a social commerce-focused digital video multi-platform network with global presence across the US, Vietnam, and Philippines. It was founded in 2010 and currently creates and distributes digital advertising campaigns across its multi-platform network in both Southeast Asia and the US.
- In 2021, the group recorded revenues of $5.8M and has a network of over 85M subscribers with an average monthly viewership of over 600M views.
- SoPa sees significant cross-marketing and revenue generation synergies between Thoughtful Media and rest of SoPa ecosystem and its loyalty offerings.
