- Peter Thiel-backed SPAC Bridgetown Holdings ( NASDAQ: BTWN ) is said to be evaluating a potential deal to take digital telecom services company Circles.Life public.
- Bridgetown ( BTWN ), which is also backed by billionaire Richard Li, is having early discussions with Singapore-based Circles.Life, according to a Bloomberg report. The combined company may look for a valuation of about $1.5 billion to $2.5 billion.
- This appears to be at least the second time that SPAC Bridgetown ( BTWN ) attempted to find a target for a deal. Indonesia’s Traveloka reportedly halted talks to go public through BTWN in September.
- Bridgetown 2, Thiel and Li's other SPAC vehicle, took PropertyGuru, a Southeast Asian property technology company, public in March.
