Standard Uranium Vice President ofExploration Sean Hillacre joined Steve Darling from Proactive tounveil the completion of the company's inaugural drillingactivities at the Atlantic Project. Situated within the esteemedeastern Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan, the Atlantic Projecthas showcased promising signs of anomalous radioactivity across allcompleted drill holes.
In aresounding testament to the success of the program, Hillacre conveyedthat anomalous radioactivity was encountered in each of the fiveinaugural drill holes conducted by the company. These findings haveunveiled multiple zones of elevated radioactivity, closely associatedwith both the sub-Athabasca unconformity and basement structuralzones, thereby indicating the presence of a uranium-fertile systemwithin the project area.
The resultsfrom the inaugural drilling program have not only validated thecompany's exploration thesis but have also underscored the immensepotential of the Atlantic Project. With several kilometers of untestedstrike length remaining across the project area, Standard Uranium ispoised to capitalize on the untapped opportunities for discovery alongthe E-W conductor system.
Furthermore, the company is optimistic about the significantupside potential at Atlantic, particularly along the unexploredsegments of the E-W conductor system. To bolster its explorationefforts, supplementary geophysical surveys are slated to be conductedover the central claim blocks. These surveys aim to delineateadditional target areas for subsequent phases of drilling, while alsotargeting the untested gravity low anomalies identified on the westernblock in 2022.
As Standard Uranium continues to advance itsexploration endeavors at the Atlantic Project, the company remainssteadfast in its commitment to unlocking the region's uraniumpotential. Stay tuned for further updates as Standard Uraniumprogresses towards its goal of resource delineation and discoverywithin this highly prospective region of the AthabascaBasin.
