Tempus Resources Ltd(ASX:TMR, TSX-V:TMRR) CEO Jason Bahnsen tells Proactive’s AndrewScott that the company has completed the first phase of a rocksampling program at the Elizabeth Gold Project in Southern BritishColumbia aimed at expanding the mineralisation footprint beyond thecurrent drilling zone.
TMR collected 90 rock samples in three key target areascovering 20 square kilometres, where a 2021 airborne magnetics andradiometric survey had identified geophysical anomalies.
All samples have beendispatched to SGS Laboratories in Vancouver for assaying.
“This sampling programhas the potential to significantly increase the overall footprint ofthe gold mineralisation at the Elizabeth Project and follows up on the2021 airborne geophysics survey targets that identified magnetic lowsassociated with intrusive bodies prospective to host goldmineralisation,” Bahnsen said.
Meanwhile, the planned 4,000-metre resource expansion drillprogram at Elizabeth has been deferred until after theElizabeth-Blackdome mineral resource estimates have beencompleted.
