- The Clough funds all have impressive records. GLV previously paid a higher distribution yield even though it didn't earn as much as its two siblings, GLO and GLQ.
- That's been rectified with the big dividend increases (21%) for GLO and GLQ and the slight (4%) cut to GLV's payout.
- With a much bigger low-yielding Treasury bond portfolio, GLV probably can't keep up with the other two, but it is still a good fund run by great managers.
- Personally, I will go with GLO or GLQ, whose portfolio, earnings records, payouts and discounts are pretty similar.
