- Online teaching company Udemy ( NASDAQ: UDMY ) said Gregg Coccari will retire as CEO and board chairman, effective Feb. 28.
- President Greg Brown will succeed Coccari as CEO and join the Udemy board.
- Stephanie Stapleton Sudbury, senior vice president of customer success for Udemy Business, will be promoted to the post of president, effective Mar. 1.
- Lead Independent Director Jeff Lieberman will be appointed interim board chairman Coccari's departure.
- The company said the search for a permanent chairperson is underway.
- The board is set to separate the chairman and CEO roles.
- Separately, Udemy said its Q4 adjusted EBITDA margin is expected to exceed the previously issued guidance range of -17% to -15%.
- The company expects Q4 revenue to be in the range of $164M to $167M, consistent with the outlook provided on Nov. 2.
- UDMY shares were down ~2% post-market.
