- VerifyMe ( NASDAQ: VRME ) on Friday has announced the dissolution of its co-sponsored special purpose acquisition company, G3 VRM Acquisition, while electing not to extend the period to consummate a business combination.
- The tech platform told investors it is focused to align its growth to the recent acquisition of PeriShip. For year ended Dec. 31, 2021, PeriShip reported income before provision for income tax of $3.1M.
- In addition, VerifyMe has received Board's approval to repurchase up to $1.5M of its shares under the new buyback program through July 1, 2023.
- VRME shares jump up 35% in premarket trading on Friday.
