- Virtus Investment Partners ( NASDAQ: VRTS ) preliminary assets under management slipped to $160.9B at May 31, 2023 from $162.2B at April 30, the company said Monday.
- In addition, the firm provided services to $2.6B of other fee-earning assets, which are not included in AUM.
- The AUM decline occured in a month in which the S&P 500 ( SPX ) gained 0.3%.
- Open-end funds AUM dipped 2.0% to $55.0B, institutional accounts AUM increased 1.6% to $59.3B, and retail separate accounts AUM dropped 1.8% to $36.6B.
- In April, Virtus ( VRTS ) saw AUM climb 4.8%.
