I never enjoy downgrading companies. But sadly, if you are an objective analyst, that is sometimes unavoidable. That is the case right now when it comes to Wabash National Corporation ( WNC ) , a business that designs and produces, as well as services, dry freight and refrigerated trailers, platform trailers, tank trailers, dry and refrigerated truck bodies, and more. This kind of business strikes at the heart of the American economy. But recently, financial performance achieved by the company has been problematic. I guess even the term recent is being used a bit liberally here. Over the last couple of years, financial performance has dropped.
