Stocks rebounded from Friday’s selling after another disappointing jobs report for August, but the rally was narrowly focused on the perceived safety of the largest technology names. Today, investors are bracing for more disappointing news on the labor market front when the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its annual revision on employment numbers through March 2025. The fear is that it will show approximately 700,000 fewer jobs were created during the prior 12-month period. This would not be surprising given that the March 2024 revision showed 818,000 fewer jobs had been created than originally reported....
