Sherwin-Williams: Why Some See Downward Potential

I've long had Sherwin-Williams ( SHW ) in my "sights", so to speak. This is because the company is the peer of some of the European paint and coatings companies that I cover, such as AkzoNobel ( AKZOY ). I'm invested (heavily) in some of its peers, but I have no position in SHW. In this article, I'll detail why that is, and what could cause me to change my mind. Furthermore, I'll investigate how justified I believe the current outlook for the company is. By this I mean the outlook we have here on SA, where the last positive article for SHW was published in mid-2024, with all articles since then being either "HOLD", "SELL", or even "STRONG SELL". It's a relatively clear-cut picture that's being presented, and it's not one I necessarily see reflected across analyst markets outside of SA. ...
