Investment Thesis
I think people are missing how crucial Amkor Technology, Inc. ( AMKR ) is going to be for the AI revolution. Despite being the largest US-headquartered outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) player worldwide, responsible for physically packaging the silicon running the AI infrastructure, it is still only trading at about 2.35x forward revenue with ~27.5 percent YoY revenue growth. The Street still calls this a simple, boring contract manufacturer, and I think they could not be more wrong. AMKR will sooner or later be recognized as a chokepoint of the AI funnel and is a "Buy" in my book....
