Brookfield Business Partners L.P. LP Units (BBU) will be converted together with shares in Brookfield Business Corporation (BBUC) and other redemption exchange units into shares of a new entity into one publicly traded entity called BBU Inc , traded in on a 1:1 basis. This is a means to simplify the ownership structure and improve the index weights of the business, housing the investments of public investors under one name rather than two. The move converged the value of the BBU shares to the premiumised BBUC shares that are both publicly traded, the former trading up and the latter trading down as the discounted BBU shares received the news of the same one-to-one exchange for shares in the newly forming entity....
