We have not covered the BlackRock Multi-Sector Income Trust’s ( BIT ) for almost a year now, with the CEF representing a former holding of ours. We were impressed how this fund navigated 2022, having interest rate hedges on which reduced duration and helped the CEF outperform during that period. The fund was a perfect example of active management at the time, namely reading the macro correctly and positioning the fund to navigate such an environment successfully....
