The Nuveen S&P 500 Dynamic Overwrite Fund ( SPXX ) is set to get larger after the management team from Nuveen proposed a merger into the fund. The acquired funds are set to be the Nuveen S&P 500 Buy-Write Income Fund ( BXMX ) and Nuveen Dow 30 Dynamic Overwrite Fund ( DIAX ). These two are funds we previously touched on, and for investors in BXMX and DIAX, there will be some changes, but the general concept of the overall strategy won't be shifting too much. In essence, investors will still own a call writing fund, but the focus of the overwrite and the level of the overwrite will be changing....
