Back in early September of this year, I briefly entertained the prospect of upgrading First Commonwealth Financial Corporation ( FCF ) from a Hold to a Buy. This was because certain metrics for the company had been improving. Shares of the business we're performing well, and that was thanks to a rise in revenue and decent asset quality.
