Stock Futures Static Ahead of Word from Nvidia, Salesforce

Stock futures were relatively unchanged on Thursday as investors digested earnings results from Nvidia and Salesforce.

Futures for the Dow Jones Industrials advanced 32 points to 49,566.

Futures for the S&P 500 poked 3.75 points to 6,963.50.

Futures for the NASDAQ edged up three points to 25,383.50.

Software and tech names bounced back in the regular session, with Oracle gaining 1.2% and each of the “Magnificent Seven” tech giants closing in the green. Microsoft, a notable laggard this year, gained about 3% on the day.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 climbed 0.3% to reach another all-time peak, while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng dipped 1.4%.

Oil prices subtracted $1.30 to $64.12 U.S. a barrel.

Gold prices sank $30.30 to $5,195.90 U.S an ounce.
