Companies that have 25+ consecutive years of dividend increases are commonly known as Dividend Aristocrats in the United States. Most of them are also part of the S&P 500. In Canada, the time period for TSX listed securities is cut by 80%, perhaps to give them a fighting chance to be included in this royal club.
