I've had positions in Credit Agricole ( CRARY ), as well as other French and European banks, for months and sometimes for years. I added to this one when most banks dropped at the end of last year but sold about 4 weeks ago at the time of writing this article. Not because the bank here is a bad one—it's stellar—but because of the valuation. For readers, I now update my thesis on Credit Agricole and show you why, at €16/share or above, this bank represents a very clear "HOLD" and a rotation potential to me....
