Cirrus Logic's Record Earnings Hide The Real Story

Cirrus Logic ( CRUS ) reported strong earnings after the close February 3rd. The strong report was expected based on Qorvo ( QRVO ) and Apple ( AAPL ) reports. Apple reported strong iPhone revenue growing 15% year over year. What wasn't known was the actual unit numbers with iPhone ASPs likely higher year over year. Counterpoint issued a report in January on China iPhone unit sales, "Now, Counterpoint Research is out with a new report showing that while smartphone shipments slipped 1.6% in China during the last quarter of 2025, Apple’s shipments rose 28% compared to Q4 2024."
