Clearwater Analytics, Inc ( CWAN ) signed a final acquisition agreement with a consortium of private equity funds including Permira and Warburg Pincus in a deal of $8.4 billion or $24.5 per share, as the company is transforming from being just a provider of accounting software to be a central nervous system of assets management and financial portfolios supported by +900 AI Agents that operate independently within CWAN's platform, which significantly reduces labor costs and creates obstacles for trasoditional competitors that cannot overcome in the near term.
