The Eaton Vance Municipal Bond Fund ( EIM ) recently completed one of its latest tender offers. This is a way for investors to cash out at a higher than current market price. In this case, the tender offer was for 98% of the NAV and 5% of the outstanding shares. While 5% doesn't sound like too much, not all investors participate, so the actual accepted portion for investors who offer up 100% of their positions is often significantly higher....
