The Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund ( ERC ) is a closed-end fund that income-seeking investors may wish to purchase as a method of obtaining a very high level of current income from the assets that they have in their portfolios. The fund manages to do quite well in this respect, as the fund boasts a 9.34% yield at the current price. According to the fund’s website , ERC invests its assets in a variety of bonds from both domestic and foreign uses using the following rubric:
