Investment Thesis
First Trust Water ( FIW ) has been the best performing water-themed ETF over the past decade and has offered competitive long-term performance even when compared with the fantastic record of the S&P 500. While I am rather skeptical of "water" as a theme for ETFs in general, I do accept that FIW is the best-in-class for getting exposure to the broad water sector and tends towards purer economic exposure to water as a natural resource, to the limited extent that this is possible....
