You probably believed the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling would eliminate Donald Trump's tariffs, and you were wrong. Although the repeal of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) has removed the risk from an economic emergency perspective, it has in some way become far more lethal, structural, and targeted. As previously mentioned, I have addressed this topic at length in another article , which you may wish to read. Nevertheless, the U.S. Administration has dropped a nuclear bomb on global free trade by initiating the largest trade investigation in recent history, and demonstrated that while the legal framework of the Washington trade war has changed, the poison is still the same. It is both wonderful and absurd that no one is discussing this. Global politics are now divided by war; therefore, there is little else to discuss. Most people believe and focus solely upon the conflict (and rightfully so), therefore, this news is of little concern, or barely worth mentioning in the headlines....
