The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence Index plummeted to its lowest level since 2014 in January, dropping 9.7 points to 84.5. This is the steepest drop in over four years and was lower than the forecast of 90.6. The latest reading puts the index in the 28th percentile of the data series....
