Biotech stocks have stormed back to be among the alpha leaders over the past few quarters. The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) fell hard from Q4 2024 to the April 2025 low, sharply lagging the S&P 500 over that stretch. Since springtime last year, however, it has outperformed.
