Trump says U.S. received 80M barrels of oil from Venezuela

U.S. President Donald Trump said in his 2026 State of the Union address that the United States has received more than 80 million barrels of oil from Venezuela, adding that U.S. oil and natural gas production has also risen sharply as part of his push to expand drilling....

“American oil production is up by more than 600,000 barrels a day,” Trump said. “American natural gas production is at an all-time high because I kept my promise to drill, baby, drill.”
