For those readers on Seeking Alpha who're less familiar with the European broadcasters: ITV plc (ITVPF)(ITVPY) is the leading commercial broadcaster in the United Kingdom. The company has traditional broadcasting operations at the core, with which it services England, Scotland, Ireland and other parts of the U.K. ITV studios is the company's production department. This part of the organization produces formats, films and series for ITV's own broadcasting operations, and it also sells these to other media companies across the globe. Next to broadcasting and content production, ITV runs the streaming platform ITVX with subscription video on-demand services ("SVOD").
