While I have a diversified portfolio due to uncertainty about the future, when I allocate capital at any given time, I generally deploy it towards a few positions that reflect my highest conviction disconnects between quality and intrinsic value versus the current market price, while also taking into account my macroeconomic outlook. In other words, I maintain a well-diversified portfolio at all times, but as I allocate fresh capital that comes in from either earnings, dividends, or proceeds from freshly trimmed or exited positions, I tend to allocate that towards only a few positions at a time where I have high conviction that they are the best places to allocate capital at that point in time....
