Mobileye: Mentee Acquisition Doesn't Address Investor Concerns

Mobileye Global Inc.'s ( MBLY ) share price briefly bounced in early January after the company announced a second Surround ADAS customer and the planned acquisition of Mentee Robotics. This proved short-lived, though, with investors seemingly souring on the Mentee acquisition. I don't find this particularly surprising though, as Mentee will add to Mobileye's losses and likely won't be a meaningful revenue contributor anytime soon. The fact that the market has been unwilling to assign Mobileye's robotaxi initiative meaningful value also suggests skepticism of Mobileye's technical capabilities....
