One company that has been falling short of my expectations recently is Mayville Engineering Company ( MEC ). Back in March of this year, I reaffirmed the enterprise as a "S trong Buy" candidate. This was based on not only the growth potential of the business, but also on how the stock was valued. Since then, a lot has transpired. We 've seen data covering two additional operating quarters come out. Those results show some unfortunate weakening for the business. At the same time, we have also seen management make a big acquisition....
