3M: Don't Keep Your 2026 Hopes Too High

In early November, I upgraded 3M Company ( MMM ) from a Sell to a Hold rating but also expressed my view that caution was still needed as margin expansion was plateauing. When including today's (Jan 20th) post-earnings drop , the stock is down around 2-3% since the publication of my previous update, and so I believe my neutral stance has worked out fine. Today, we'll be taking an in-depth look at their 2025 Q4 earnings and the valuation to see whether my rating needs revising....
