This seems a fairly obvious point, that we should use a tool for its intended purpose. Sadly, all too few get it at times. Not so much people using a screwdriver to hammer in a nail – even I've done that in rage – as people not putting in the work to understand what is the intended purpose of a tool and therefore what we should use it for....
