In October last year, I wrote about the Goldman Sachs Nasdaq-100 Premium Income ETF's ( GPIQ ) superior strategy that trumps the Global X NASDAQ 100 Covered Call ETF ( QYLD ) over full cycles. This thesis was based on the fact that GPIQ is a more active and agile methodology that is allowed to write options covering 25%-75% of the portfolio value, allowing better upside capture participation. This obviously works better in total returns terms over the long term.
