Skyhawk Security Strengthens Autonomous Red Team with Agentic AI, Enabling Continuous Security Control Validation

MWN-AI** Summary

Skyhawk Security has announced a significant enhancement to its autonomous Red Team capabilities by integrating agentic AI, aimed at facilitating continuous security control validation. Unveiled at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas on December 2, 2025, this upgrade marks a pivotal advancement in Skyhawk's cloud-native breach and attack simulation (BAS) platform, traditionally focused on visualizing potential attacks.

The incorporation of agentic AI allows Skyhawk’s system to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures against live threats targeting critical assets. This innovative approach not only simulates attacks but also assesses a customer’s overall security stack, including third-party controls. By connecting with various security tools currently in use, the platform checks each stage of an attack to determine if prevention and detection measures are adequately in place.

Skyhawk CEO Chen Burshan emphasized that this development responds directly to customer demands for better visibility into their security postures. Unlike traditional breach-and-attack simulations that rely on artificial environments, the agentic AI capabilities operate seamlessly within live cloud environments without disrupting production or detection systems.

Presently, the agentic AI spans both detection and enforcement categories, integrating with major SIEM solutions and cloud monitoring tools. This ensures a comprehensive assessment of security effectiveness aligns with dynamic cloud architectures rather than static frameworks.

Skyhawk Security, a spin-off of Radware, positions itself as a leader in Purple Team-Powered Cloud Security, combining advanced AI-driven methodologies to enhance cloud security drastically. This innovative agentic AI functionality, showcased live at the event, illustrates Skyhawk's commitment to offering transformative solutions for proactive cloud security management.

MWN-AI** Analysis

Skyhawk Security’s recent launch of agentic AI capabilities in its AI-based Red Team is a significant development in the cloud security market, particularly for enterprises navigating increasingly complex threat landscapes. This innovation, which enhances breach and attack simulation (BAS) by providing continuous validation of security controls within dynamic cloud environments, positions Skyhawk as a formidable player in the cybersecurity space.

Investors should view this enhancement as a strategic differentiation point for Skyhawk, particularly as cloud migrations accelerate post-pandemic. With the rise of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures, the need for broader visibility into security postures is paramount; Skyhawk’s new capabilities provide just that. By validating not only its own security controls but those of third-party vendors, Skyhawk offers a comprehensive assessment that can lead to tangible improvements in the effectiveness of security measurements.

Moreover, the integration of agentic AI fosters a data-driven approach to identifying gaps in security coverage, which is crucial for organizations looking to mitigate their risk exposure efficiently. The platform's capability to align with existing SIEMs and security controls suggests a flexible solution for companies reluctant to overhaul their entire security infrastructure. This adaptability can lead to a greater adoption rate among potential clients, further enhancing revenue prospects for Skyhawk.

As the cybersecurity market continues to grow—projected to reach USD 345.4 billion by 2026—Skyhawk’s offering of Continuous Proactive Protection through its Autonomous Purple Team adds significant value. In light of these advancements, investors should carefully evaluate Skyhawk’s growth trajectory and market positioning, considering it a likely candidate for investment, especially as it leverages partnerships and expands its capabilities to address the pressing demands of cloud security.

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 02, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AWS re:Invent – Skyhawk Security , the leader in Purple Team-Powered Cloud Security, today launches agentic AI capabilities through its AI-based Red Team , enabling continuous security control validation. The update expands Skyhawk’s cloud-native, agentless breach and attack simulation (BAS). Instead of simply showing how attacks would unfold, it checks the entire security stack to determine whether a customer’s existing detection and enforcement controls would catch (or stop) imminent threats to crown-jewel assets.

Skyhawk’s Autonomous Purple Team has long provided validated attack scenarios across live cloud environments. With the introduction of agentic AI in the Red Team, Skyhawk now formally validates third-party security controls against those scenarios to deliver an environment-aware view of coverage across the entire security stack. The platform connects to compensating security controls customers already operate and determines, for each attack step, whether prevention technologies would block the activity and whether detection tools would generate the appropriate indications and alerts. Where coverage is incomplete, the system prescribes specific changes and (where permitted) drafts detection updates to accelerate remediation. This approach extends Skyhawk’s BAS beyond simulation to an evidence-based assessment of true attack feasibility in the customer’s production architecture.

“Cloud environments are dynamic and today’s security stack is often siloed. Customers consistently tell us that they want better visibility into what’s deployed and effective across their cloud estate,” said Chen Burshan, CEO of Skyhawk Security. “Guided by that feedback, we’re bringing everything into a single view. Legacy breach-and-attack simulation pen-testing requires building a sample environment and it doesn’t demonstrate what a customer’s live ecosystem will truly prevent or detect. Our AI-based Red Team runs non-disruptive to the true cloud environment. It doesn’t impact production or detections and there’s zero manual effort. Adding agentic AI to our platform within the AI-based Autonomous Purple Team lets us evaluate the entire security stack customers run, not just our own detections. This allows us to identify real gaps, amplify the value of red-team findings, and expand the practical impact for our customers.”

At launch, Skyhawk’s agentic approach spans both detection and enforcement categories, with plans to expand in the future. For detection, the system integrates with SIEMs such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, LogRhythm and Sumo Logic, alongside cloud and endpoint monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch and Microsoft Defender. For enforcement, Skyhawk’s evaluation extends to web application firewalls and endpoint security controls, including CrowdStrike. This yields an end-to-end assessment of “detect” and “defend” coverage aligned to current cloud architectures, rather than to static diagrams or content libraries.

Skyhawk will demonstrate its agentic AI functionality live on the show floor at AWS re:Invent at booth #1223. To schedule a private meeting on-site and learn more about Skyhawk’s award-winning platform, visit this link .
