SABA: This Fund Has A Unique Strategy That Delivers Very Strong Performance

The Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund II ( SABA ) is a closed-end fund that aims to provide its investors with a very attractive level of income and exposure to certain strategies and asset classes that may not be found in traditional closed-end funds. These asset classes include special purpose acquisition companies, reinsurance and catastrophe bonds, public and private debt securities, and other closed-end funds. This fund will, as is the case with some of Saba Capital's other funds, sometimes take sizable positions in other closed-end funds and then put pressure on the management of the purchased fund to make changes that Saba Capital thinks will reduce the fund's discount (resulting in the target fund's shares trading at a price that is closer to their net asset value). If successful, this results in the Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund II making an investment profit. Naturally, the profits made by this fund will benefit the investors, so purchasing shares of this fund can allow any individual to profit from activist strategies. Overall, though, the Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund II aims to provide investors with a way to earn a very high level of income from the assets in their portfolios. The fund does fairly well at this, too, as it boasts a 7.71% distribution yield at the current share price.
