Improvements Justify An Upgrade For First BanCorp

For quite some time now, one bank that I have been neutral about is First BanCorp. ( FBP ). Although it's an interesting institution, declining core deposits in the past concerned me. The good news is that we have started to see some improvement on that front. In fact, the balance sheet is getting better and the income statement is reflecting that. Net interest margin is now on the rise, and asset quality is high....
