FTEC: Don't Give Up On American Technology - Especially Not On NVIDIA

It's easy for individual investors to get swayed by the talking-heads on CNBC, Bloomberg, and even here on Seeking Alpha (by contributors like me ...) and the seemingly non-stop barrage of sensationalistic headlines and, quite often, from what I consider to be irrational "analysis" that frequently seems to border on hysteria. At times like this, with the current narrative being that AI will destroy the world — starting with the SaaS-Pocalypse — that appear to have the objective of freaking investors out of the tech sector, it's time to step back, take a deep-breath, and calmly evaluate your long-term investment goals and strategy. If you do that, you will likely come away with the same conclusion I did many years ago: build a well-diversified portfolio on the foundation of a high-quality cost-efficient S&P500 ETF, like the Vanguard 500 Index Fund ETF (VOO), for instance, and to over-weight the technology sector.
