Investment Thesis
I last reviewed the Invesco S&P 500 High Beta ETF ( SPHB ) on November 21, 2023, when I issued it a "hold" rating after raising questions about its quality and criticizing its past performance, which should have been better, given how high beta stocks tend to outperform in bull markets. Since that article was published, SPHB has gained 56.86%, compared to 49.87% and 33.54% for the SPDR S&P 500 ETF ( SPY ) and the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF ( RSP )....
