NFIB Small Business Survey: Optimism Declines But Uncertainty Lessens

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index inched down 0.5 points to 98.8, remaining above the index's historical average for a tenth straight month. This was below the forecast of 99.6 and puts the index at the 45th percentile of the series. Despite the headline index's slight decline, the uncertainty index also lessened....
