StoneCo: I Am Doubling Down To Secure A Double-Digit Buyback Yield

My investment in StoneCo ( STNE ) stock back in November 2021 has not gone that well. After 4+ years, I am sitting on a meager gain of ~4% on my initial investment while the S&P 500 has rallied almost 50% during this time. As much as I would have enjoyed a better performance, I understand that this is a part of being a long-term oriented, contrarian investor with a focus on small-caps. My last bullish piece on StoneCo was published in December 2025 when I thought its credit portfolio growth was fundamentally different from what we saw in 2021....
