Right now, the logistics industry is facing challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic created a boon for the space. This was because of a flurry of buying activity caused by worries over supply chain constraints. Significant investments were made in the trucking sector. And now that we have reached a more normalized state following the end of the pandemic, there remains an oversupply of capacity and, interestingly enough, a shortage of truck drivers has now formed. Add on top of this the reality of tariffs and a slowdown in the US economy, and sprinkle on top new fears about policy changes that could further restrict the space, and investors are wise to be cautious right now....
